A thermal image of your electrical switchboard will pick up hot spots and loose connections. The use of thermal imaging has revolutionised the ability to carry out predictive maintenance for commercial industries. It is used to identify things that are going to fail. Even when everything looks normal from the outside, heat gives things away. It could be a loose connection, a fuse that needs replacing, a motor overloaded, bearings running at high load, etc.

A thermal imaging camera is a reliable non-contact instrument which is able to scan and visualise the temperature distribution of entire surfaces of machinery and electrical equipment quickly and accurately, while the equipment is running.

A lot of commercial fires are the result of an electrical fault such as faulty wiring, overloaded switchboards, or poor electrical design. A fire can be devastating for a business including the loss of the business, jobs, income, water, or stock damage and at best interruption.
