Most of us know to get a builders check before we purchase a house, but how many get an electrical check?
Unfortunately many beautiful but older homes have not been brought up to code and could contain outdated and possibly obsolete defective systems that could contribute to a disaster. Even newer homes which have been built according to the latest codes and with up to date features and equipment need an electrical safety check to ensure any alterations are compliant.
A Electrical Certificate of Safety check is often requested by an insurance company before insurance is issued on the property.
